"Stalagmite"

They never wanted to see my soul,
but it bled out when the music cried.
They all grew so cold, their faces softened
and smiles melting slowly,
stalactite.

The light was so bright they were blinded
- - now too dark,
stalagmite.

They never intended to fall so deep
but they let go when the music cried.
only one died - only one.
She never knew of darkness,
because it didn't exist.
